Is that a fabric ticket???
When I was pregnant with Nathan I went craft crazy the last two months thinking that I wouldn't have time in front of my sewing machine for a while...but, he's just such a great baby I actually was bored over the weekend.
I have been wanting to make Timothy a terrycloth bathrobe for a while but was waiting for the fabric to go on sale, since I already had the pattern. I finished it this afternoon and put it on him after his bath and he has yet to take it off! I love the color!
Timothy also got a Curious George blanket that same afternoon- all of the character fabric was 40% off so I just sewed some satin edging around it. Since it came on a 60" bolt I was able to buy 1 yard and cut it in half to make 2 blankets....just in case he looses one. (He just loves George! I think it's because he can relate to him... not being able to communicate properly and getting into mischief.)
This is my favorite project! I saw this pic of the Dino Crochet Hat while cruising online and fell in love with it. I didn't buy the pattern, I just looked around online for a free hat pattern and did my own thing for the spikes. This was actually my first time doing one with ear flaps. It's got plenty of room for him to grow into it, which is good since it's 90 degrees out here!
I made this sweater for Nathan while I was still pregnant but I thought he deserved a little modeling session too. Besides, this is the first picture of him with his eyes open.
Okay, enough bragging!
Here are some pictures I took of the boys together. I was actually trying to get a good shot of Nathan for his birth announcement when Timothy asked to hold him.
