Something to be grateful for...

There are times as parents when we feel like our kids think of absolutely wild things to do just to drive us crazy. When it happens we can't bring ourselves to laugh at it, but years or months later it's hilarious (like when Timothy decided to paint the hallway walls and floor, as well as, Nathan with acrylic paint :)

I think a lot of times parents of toddlers think that what their kids do is uniquely evil...but the reality of it is, all toddlers have a mischievous monster of curiosity and destruction lurking deep inside.

Here is a collection of my favorite things my kids haven't done, or at least not to this extent.

Yikes! That'll drop the Blue Book value!

In the past 3 years I have developed a very strong hatred for permanent and dry erase markers. Parenting toddlers will do that to you.

I think every parent has experienced these wonderful door holes- they are not fun to fix.

I can't believe it IS butter. On Everything.

I'm just waiting for the Thomas in the microwave. Timothy has developed a recent fascination with the microwave. Reminds me of when my sister cooked poptarts without taking them out of the foil.

See that soap pump in the tank? Soap kills fish, just fyi. I'm not sure about the flashcards.

I did this as a kid. Ice skating on flour...mom decided to show us how to make play dough, then the phone rang. Samantha started it.

Are you laughing as hard as I am? How unfortunate. Yet hilarious!

If my boys ever shredded an entire couch.....I don't know what would happen, but it would NOT be pretty.

See, there is always something to be grateful for.
