Boys Will Be Boys

This is the 3rd time this month that I have found Mr. Nathan here.

Apparently he needs to brush his teeth, wash his hands, and remove hair from the drain more often than I let him. So, he's taken matters into his own hands by doing it by himself.

How does he even get up to the sink?
Quite simple. He moves the step stool (for brushing their teeth) over to the toilet. He then closes the lid and climbs on the toilet, leans over and stands on the toilet paper roll, using that to hoist him on the counter and into the sink.

This morning the boys were taking their bath and I slipped away for a moment to get their clean clothes. While I'm sorting through the dresser I notice the quiet;  you know the quiet I'm talking about.

I shout on my way back, "Timothy, Buddy. What are you doing?"
The response: "Making a pool for Nathan."

Let it never be said that my sons are lacking ingenuity.

Sometimes I can almost hear the narrator saying:
"Incident number two in the life of Amanda occurred...."
Matt watched "Life with Elizabeth" once and he grinned and said that he now understood "where I get it from."
