We'e been keeping pretty busy around here. I started a regular school schedule with Timothy three days a week and he is really enjoying it. He is a very fast learner which doesn't surprise me at all.
I've got the nesting instincts kicking in so I'm cleaning and organizing every free minute I can find. A new baby needs a lot of space so I'm trying to make the most out of every corner of our "cozy" little home.
I made a trench coat for Timothy last week since he outgrew all of his jackets from last winter. It's green corduroy with gold buttons.
This was the first time I'd made a jacket with a full lining, even the sleeves are lined. It took some figuring out but I am really thrilled with the outcome...I spotted some pink corduroy at the fabric store last week that I might have to get!
The boys stayed home with me from church today- runny noses and stinky attitudes:) So we got a chance to read some of our library books, catch up on our Curious George cartoons and build some lego raceways.
Nathan didn't quiet understand that you are supposed to keep yourself off the track. He kept getting his oversize truck and plopping right in the center. After three attempts Timothy was ready to put the legos away until later.
And in other new; Uncle Brad dropped by and saved the day today when the line to our evaporative cooler froze over (Matt was working late at church). We use the back door in the winter to avoid tracking in mud so we had no idea that we had a wall of icicles on the side of the house for two days!
