Welcome Home Fluffy!

Day #2 at home has come and gone without a hitch.
I am grateful for so much.
Nana came over today and cleaned the kitchen and washed all my dishes. I managed to get all three of the children to nap at the same time so I could rest as well. When I awoke from my nap dinner was on it's way over from one of the wonderful women in our church. I had a bottle pumped so Matt fed her while I served dinner and then we all sat down together and talked while we ate.

We were scheduled to be induced after lunch but I got a call in the morning saying that the hospital had an available slot if I wanted to come early. Madeline was so ready to come it took less than 5 hours from check-in to finish. We rested a bit and then the boys came to the hospital before bedtime to meet their sister and get their hugs and kisses.

She has her eyes open a lot, eats and sleeps well and hardly fusses at all- she has been the perfect baby!

She looks like she's leading the music for VBS in the picture below.  Hallelu! Hallelujah! Praise ye the Lord!

Buckled up and ready to go home

Madeline met her pediatrician this morning and when they took her hat off they were shocked to see that she has blonde hair. Her complexion is from Daddy's side of the gene pool so I think they just assumed she would have black hair...the look on the nurse's face was priceless!

Tim is making a odd face but he's not crying :)

Nathan was trying to scoot her over so they could sit together.

The boys are very happy with their Fluffy!

  1. Amanda, you have grown up to be a beautiful Christian young lady. We are so proud of you and Matt for choosing to raise children in honor to the name of Jesus. Your daughter is beautiful. Love, The Johnson Family

    1. Good to hear from you, Cris! We have been blessed by the Lord in more ways than we can even count.Psalm 68:19 is so true for us as I hope it is for you and your clan :)
